Great to hear about your Blue Chicken band. With your lead and Brian Mitchell on keys/organ I imagine a high energy, funky, incredible sound. And let's not forget the return of the great Randy Clairante on drums. We're really looking forward to hearing you guys. It has me thinking about the days of the Honky Tonk Gurus with Richard Bell on keyboard, may he rest in peace. They were unforgetable shows in downtown NYC.
So, I hope the Blue Chicken band comes visits us in NYC.

Jimmy, Happy Birthday! You definitely had Levon's back on his return. Enjoyed your playing immensely. Can't wait for Blue Chicken at Towne Crier and Percolator at Turning Point.

Can't believe it's been 11 years that Rick passed. I recollect everything about that time in my life so vividly, yet every year I'm surprised anew that it was just before Xmas.
I hope my RW friends are doing well. I've almost given up hope that we'll all get together again one day......

Jim, Your modest stage presence and generous personality on stage make you the coolest cat in the Levon Helm Band.
Your talent stood out on the crowded stage at Mountain Jam. Your fans know what your all about and that's why we love you. Thank's for keeping it real.

Loved seeing you and the rest of the band just light up the place at Levon's barn this past Saturday at the 70th birthday Ramble. One of the highlights for me (there were many) was you and Larry trading leads in Black Friday! Let me know when you get down to Crossroads Music in Cherry Hill NJ again, as I unfortunately was out of town last time you were in. And if you want a good home-cooked meal when you are down here, my wife (also a big fan) is one helluva cook--we'd be glad to have you over!

First off I would like to thank Robin Hood for turning me on to your music. You are one hell of a guitar player. Do you and will you ever play anywhere near the Asheville NC area. If so you can bet I'll be there. When I have the spare bucks I'm going to purchase some of you Cd's. I'm really impressed.
