Hey guys, Tom "Bones" Malone played Syracuse last nite. He played 2 sets, the first derdicated to jazz with the Central New York Jazz Orchestra, lots of trombone solo's from Tom but our local guys really got to stretch out too.The second set added a couple more locals boys, a guitar player and a  smooth vocalist, and they played Blues Brother's tunes. I talked with Tom forawhile after the show, he fondly reminisced about playing the Last Waltz as well as playing on a couple of the 90's Band albums and on one of Jim's albums. He asked me to give his warm regards to Jim&Rando.

Hey Jim...I just got done listening to Percolator again (3rd time around). Nice versatile piece of work there. I can't wait to hear it live in Troy next month! It was a blast the other night over at Artie's. You were just like one of the guys visiting the neighborhood. The whole band sounded very tight. I picked up Anna's CD today, and will be giving it a spin this weekend. See ya's soon...Al
