What a great time at the Music Fest in PA. The JWBII were a class act. My friend Pat is hooked on the JWB sound. I was nice to see that the weather held off. Sorry that I will miss the Patteyburg show, however I will make sure that I put on Jimmy's CD's and toss down a few beers ocean side. Headed to good ol'Cape May again. Maybe the JWB I or II will book a show down there?
Have a good time with Steve and Carol

The Jim weider band 2 came to the Granite state, and blew the roof off the old "Stone Church" in Newmarket N.H.
"The Church" has been reborn, and for my first time back in many, many moons I "got religion". Grown men were weeping, even the soundman :-)
Thanks so much for the great show,it was a special treat for me to meet Jesse and Daniel and hang with the band.
Nicest guys you can meet! I hope Rando and Jesse made it back Ok.
Jesse,When you broke the low e-sting(yikes), I had to hold back from running up to grab the Strat, and put a new string on it pronto. I figured since you didn't know me, you'd think I'd have hightailed it out of there with your baby.
Thanks again guys for a great show, friendship and bringing the good, good music to Nu-hamsha!
All the best,
( old and in the way),

Tonite it was Bo Diddley playin in the rain, with the Holmes Brother's opening up. I don't recall the connection, but I believe Rando and/or Jim has played with them, or vice versa? Great show, anyway.

Pretty good day. Saw Mavis Staples at the NYS Blues festival tonite. She played a fine version of The Weight, mentioned the Last Waltz and 4 of the original 5 by name-she left out Richard and referred to Rick as " Danko". Watched GMan get his Have a Little Faith cd signed by Mavis, proudly sowing off his JWB shirt to her. Also bought my Sept 10 Ramble ticket-3 days before my birthday. Pretty good day....

Really nice interview in Modern Guitars.
I learned a lot.
I am building a beater Tele with a refinished chinese body, an Allparts neck, an SD Jazzmaster pu in the middle, a Chandler in an aftermarket brass bridge, and a Rio Grande in the
Now I'm thinking about my frets.
Nice to read the interview and nice to find your website. Your new album is definitely on my wish list!

From their website - "684 turns into Route 22 North. Go 7 miles to the Intersection of Route 22 & 311 Make a Left at the Light and the Festival Grounds will be 1/2 mile on the right. Across from the Donald B. Smith Justice Building."
See you there, Rick!
