Amazing show at The Stone Church the other night, and a thrill to have something this good come up to NH(I'm the guy you signed the cd for that moved up from Tribeca)! I'm a little embarrassed to confess that I was not familiar with you before this, but was brought into the fold by the great musical cross-pollinator, Tony Levin...I'm hooked! By the way, I used to go to art school up in your neck of the woods in New Paltz - love to have you check out my site. Thanks for making The Stone Church a sonic temple! Jerry

One of those cosmic coincidence' today: While I was listening to Percolator, I ran into a recent, taped, radio interview with Jim on a show called Musiciancast, out of Philadelphia. You can listen to it over on Jan's site, in the What's New section. Good interview, covers everything from his early influences, equipment, The Band, how he writes...Good to see/hear him getting  recognition down in the city of Brotherly Looove....Hope the upcoming Massachusetts shows go well for you guys.

Jim,

Awesome..awesome gig on the 20th at The Cutting Room. I was just waiting for Jerry to post the gig on DimeaDozen before signing here.

I am listening to the gig while I am writing this. This is a great recording of a really awesome concert!! My wife and I loved every moment of it. I have been in the US for about 8 months now and its taken me some time to get into the music scene but watching and hearing you guys that night justifies every emotion I have felt for rock music since I was a kid in Calcutta.

I am gonna catch you everytime you guys hit NYC. Keep hittin' the note!!

BTW they describe your playing in Allmusic as "rousing, reflective and organic". I think organic is right on the mark, the sound you guys make is just so alive!

Also wanna thank rest of JWB especially Randy. I once wished Randy on his b'day on Jan's site and he was gracious eough to thank me back by mailing me. I still have that mail and it is one of the best things to have ever happened to me!!

cheers

I attended the Ramble and enjoyed your set. I was forced to leave due to the weather at 1am.I was wondering if the Gurus played any more latter that morning?

Hey Guy's and Gal's
Another killer night of music from the great JWBI at the Pattenburg last friday night.  Jimmy and Sid created so much heat, the Pattenburg Fire Co. was put on standby!  Rando and Big Mike Kemp, who was wearing Pink Floyd's Syd Barrett's robe on the first song work up so much FUNK, it felt like the God Father of Funkafacation was in the house.  With the Great,Dan the Man on Keys,Mr. George" P-Funk" Clinton would have been proud of the JWB I.
Thanks for the sounds
Peace
Mikey
